Academic Competition

CFCS provides many opportunities for student enrichment. The students participate annually in the ACSI Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Math Olympics, Art Festival, and Music Competitions. Our students consistently place high in these events.

Student Projects

The students at CFCS also take part in a variety of extra curricular projects throughout the school year. On Grandparent’s Day, the students invite their grandparents to their classrooms. They are honored by their grandchildren as the students get an opportunity to serve, respect, and cherish their grandparents and other elders.

Every student participates in the annual Christmas musical. They look forward to this time every year, and many feel it is one of the highlights of the year.

Community Outreach

The upper grades minister to a retirement home in the community through letter writing, singing, and poem and scripture recitation. Though the goal of the students is to help others, many of the students are ministered to in return as they reach beyond themselves and get to know new people.

Student Activities

Our upper grades always look forward to the Bonita Park Science Retreat. During this fun time, the students spend several days in the cool Sacramento Mountains of New Mexico as they learn more about themselves and God’s creation.

All students are involved in one educational field trip per month. They experience some of what they have learned in the classroom as they visit places and events like the El Paso Art Museum, Insights Science Museum, EPISD Planetarium, the El Paso Zoo, the El Paso Symphony Orchestra, and others.

While on campus, students participate in art projects and music education. In addition to the PE program, they have opportunities to participate in the sports program which includes soccer, basketball, volleyball, track, and flag football.
