She completed her student teaching in kindergarten, taught pre-kinder for two years and third grade for a year. Now, she has the privilege and honor to teach first grade at Community of Faith Christian School. Patricia Natividad is so excited to be part of the CFCS family and is looking forward to see what God has in store for her and her students. Mrs. Natividad was born in El Paso, raised in Seminole, Texas, and eventually, made her way back to El Paso. She is the oldest of three. She has a younger brother and sister and two loving parents. It is great that they all live here in El Paso, too! She has a wonderful husband, Frank, and two fantastic children. They all are her sunshine! Sonrisa is in high school and Patrick currently attends CFCS. They also have a dog, Buster, which they all just adore.

A native of El Paso,Texas, I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. After working for a year as a music teacher in the public schools, I spent three years at home following the birth of my son. My husband was my high school sweetheart. I love my family very much and thank God that we are believers.

I began working at CFCS as a third grade teacher in 1993, and am thrilled to be here. I love teaching all subjects, including vocal ensemble. My son attended Community of Faith since he was four years old, graduating from the 9th grade. The school has been truly a blessing to my husband, my son, and me.

I am thankful to the Lord for the opportunity He has given me since the day I started my journey as a teacher. I feel that I have grown in experience, and more than anything else as a Christian. I love children; I love what I do!

I have been playing the keyboard, piano, and singing at my church on the worship team since 1990. I enjoy teaching private music lessons in the summer. All I do is because of Him and for Him.

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, as the youngest of three children, Mrs. Hidrogo is married and the blessed mother of five. She graduated from Parkland High School. Her original studies at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) were in criminal justice. Realizing her passion for teaching, she transferred to interdisciplinary studies and graduated with honors in 2009. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, the Bilingual Education Student Organization, and participated in extensive in-service training at UTEP. Her student teaching requirements were fulfilled in a first grade classroom. Mrs. Hidrogo broadened her experience by teaching autistic students in a Special Education classroom, tutoring UTEP students in reading, and as a preschool teacher.

Born and raised in Mexico City, I graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2001, with a major in graphic design and a minor in business administration.

My working experience began at EPSON de Juarez, where I was designing, organizing, implementing, and delivering training courses to the employees.

Wanting to become a teacher, I returned to UTEP to obtain a masters in education while teaching at Community of Faith.

I graduated in December 2012 with a Masters of Education as an instructional specialist in technology. The course content in the education plan in my Master studies not only generated in me a greater concern for children’s education, but has strengthened the flame of desire for pursuing a teaching career path by giving me a greater knowledge and understanding that will allow me to develop further in the teaching arena with a firm idea of what I would like to achieve as an educator: to be a teacher who young children look up to, someone who children can trust, and a teacher who will always go the extra mile to ensure their success. I teach computers, Spanish, yearbook and 7th and 8th grade subjects at Community of Faith.

My wife, Georgina, and son, Markito, have been the driving force in my life who have supported me in everything I do.

I graduated from Murray State University in Murray, KY in 1973, with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Education and Art. I attended and trained at the Texas Scottish Rite Learning Center in Lubbock, TX, and I logged over 350 classroom teaching hours while training for certification at the Center in Alphabetic Phonics. I began private practice in 2005 and currently work as an extension of the Community of Faith staff where I presently teach a Visualize/Verbalize program to improve reading comprehension, memory, and written language skills.

I receive an enormous amount of satisfaction helping students to improve their reading and comprehension skills. This is not just a “job” to me but a tribute to instructors who worked with my 2 sons to help them achieve their academic potential. My work is like a prayer everyday; it is like hearts and hands I dedicate to God for His blessings he has given me to share.

Outside my profession, I enjoy gardening (I grew up in Kentucky and love my plants and trees), antiquing, junking and reading, and most of all my friends and family, who live near and far.
